If you are an author of Transgendered fiction and want to go on record that your stories can never be archived here, then send a message to the webmaster. Include the name your write under and a list of stories you have written. Many people contribute stories that they get off off newsgroups, old bbs's or other pages and do not comply with the author's wishes that they be not archived anywhere.
Most of the stories you will find here in early 1998 are coming from my old bbs, Sierra Connection. You might not have known about it and some of your stories where posted there by others. Again if you have a story here that came from there, that you do not want here, we will removed it as soon as we are notified.
How do I determine if my stories are here in the first place?
Try the Super Search page. There you can search by story name or parts of it, by characters, before male name and changed or new female name, other characters in the story. An example would be if you had a story where Mike becomes Michelle. Go to the Super Search page and input Mike in the male name window and hit search and it will show you every story where the male name of the character is Mike. Or try just Mic in the changed or new female name and it will bring up every story where the changed or new female name contains the letters Mic.
Another problem we have is stories being posted here where we do not know the author's name in the first place. You might have included it in the header or footer of your story. But somebody used their word processor and stripped that data from the story. The easiest thing for you to do is seach for stories where the author's name is unknown to us.
But if we know who you are, then use the Author search function.
Now comes the fun part, we have an authors biography section. This allows you to input a biography about your self that allows your fans to learn more about their favorite authors. Your biography is password protected and only you can change it once it is input. And if you forget your password, there is a function to email your password back to yourself based on the email address you used when you first input your biography. We hope that many authors use this function.
Things you might consider putting in your biography are, how you got started, why you write, what other authors you look up to, how you get your story ideas, what type of storylines you like writing the most. Those are just a few ideas for you to ponder if you decide to use this function.
How to contribute stories.....this feature is not ready yet. If you look at the way we search for stories by keyword, category and peoples names then you can see we collect a lot of data on each story. We will add a simple form you can fill out if you desire to input that data yourself. We will also put an ftp drop box in place for you upload files into or you can email them to us. We expect this to be ready in a few days.
