You can search for stories added by a range of dates. Example show me the stories added in the Month of April 1998. You would enter 04/01/1998 in the top window and 04/30/1998 in the lower window. Enter them backwards and you will get nothing displayed. You must use the mm/dd/yyyy date format or it will not display anything either. Those that are new users to this website will find this as a handy tool to go back to the older stories with out starting with the newest added stories and having to index your way back 20 stories at a time like you would on most of the other searches here. This search functions sorts the stories in reverse order compare to most other searches on the system. Using the above example dates you will see the stores on the first page starting at 04/01/98 and on the last page 04/30/98. The first story was added to the system on 02/14/98 so putting an earlier number then that in the top window gets you nothing extra.
